After the great success of Innova and Fortuner, Toyota Kirloskar Motors is planning to introduce its new mini MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) the Toyota Avanza in India this year. Toyota Avanza is designed by Daihatsu and produced in Indonesia and also assembled in Malaysia with supervision from Toyota Japan. The name “Avanza” was adopted from the Italian word avanzato, which means ‘advance’.
The Toyota Avanza has a stunning exterior and an impressive interior along with several excellent features. Exterior includes sporty and stylish front grille and body colour bumpers. The car is blessed with front lighting system that includes multi reflector headlamps, turn indicator, bright fog lamps.
The luxurious interior of Toyota Avanza will have analog and digital instrument panel, audio system with four speakers, and the dashboard might have sufficient space for documents, CDs and some other small stuff.
Toyota Avanza might be loaded with 1.5 liter petrol engine that produces a max power of 109 Ps at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 141 Nm at 4400 rpm. The car is fuel efficient and is likely to run at 15.8 kmpl. It will have a 5-speed manual transmission with minimum turning radius of 4.7 m.
This is expected that Toyota Avanza will be available in the price range of Rs 6 lakh to 9 lakh.
